The results of a review of MK4 clinical trials pubilshed in the Archives of Internal Medicine (Cockayne S et al. Arch Intern Med. 2006;166(12):1256-1261) found that regular supplementation with MK4 (45mg/day) may decrease vertebral fractures by 60%, hip fractures by 71% and all nonvertebral fractures by 81%. Osteo-K delivers the amount of MK4 used in clinical trials for bone health (45 mg/day), plus bone-building calcium (1000 mg per day as highly absorbable calcium citrate) and vitamin D3 (2,000 IU/day) to grow stronger bones.
