Dietary Supplement

B ComplexVET helps reduce the effects of stress in cats, dogs, and horses. B2, B6, B12, and folate are in their active, tissue-ready forms. Although each B vitamin is chemically distinct, they often work synergistically in various biochemical functions – from cellular energy production to healthy red-blood-cell formation and healthy neurological function.

Supplementing with the active forms of the B vitamins is important in those companion animals who may not be able to convert the non-active forms to their active forms in the liver because of compromised liver function, poorly functioning enzymes, digestive disturbances, poor diet, or advancing age. Animals who have been ill or who have a poor appetite might also need extra vitamin B supplementation. ThorneVET's B ComplexVET contains the entire B complex in a formula with optimal bioavailability. B ComplexVET is also recommended for use in cats, dogs, and horses to help reduce the effects of stress. Unlike many B vitamin products, this product is not derived from yeast.
